A2Empowerment is providing scholarships to over 200 young women this school year, and benefiting over 450 young women total! Fifteen clusters of up to 30 high school students - scholarship recipients and their female peers - across Cameroon are receiving the Girl Boss curriculum thanks to our partnership with WESAD and Launch Girls. In their own words, some of the students and mothers share how the program has had an impact on their lives:

![Dear A2Empowerment, My name is IVODIA, I'm in form 3c. I was strolling with my friend when the mentor spotted us and called her into her office. My friend asked me to tag along, and before I knew it, the mentor was inviting her to join A2empowerment, and I got invited to join. I decided to check it out, and it ended up being a game-changer. On the first day, I learned the ropes of being a digital boss and entrepreneur. As I kept attending [monthly Girl Boss meetings], I discovered how to set myself up for the future, craft my personal value proposition, and more. With these skills, I am feeling more confident to collaborate with like-minded people. And in the future, I aim to make a difference in my community by teaching young girls how awesome they are and how they can achieve their dreams.](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/98a02e_cfeaa748b7ba44d6be0fcb90f58270ef~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_749,h_1080,al_c,q_85,enc_avif,quality_auto/98a02e_cfeaa748b7ba44d6be0fcb90f58270ef~mv2.jpg)

We are grateful to our dedicated mentors, Maritta, Juliana, Sheila, and Larissa, and our partner Dr. Helvecia Takwe of WESAD, for relaying these messages.
